There are several ways to put accents in your answers to this site. Use whatever method works best for you. Here are some suggestions:

1. Copy and paste the accented letter from the list given on the Guadeloupe Web site before each text box you are to write in. To copy: highlight or select ONLY the accent you want (no space before or after it.

For PC: Copy = Control/c . Then move your cursor to the space in the box where you want the accent to appear. Paste =Control/v . Note that if you get an extra space, you erroneously copied that space from the "copy and paste" procedure. Next time, be careful to just copy the accented letter you need.

For MAC: Copy = Apple/c . Then move your cursor to the space in the box where you want the accent to appear. Paste =Apple/v . Note that if you get an extra space, you erroneously copied that space from the "copy and paste" procedure. Next time, be careful to just copy the accented letter you need.

2. Use the "character map" in Windows. Start/program/accessories/system tools/character map. Select the letter you want, put your cursor in the box at the top of the form, Select (the letter will appear in the box), then Copy, then minimize this box and return to the Guadeloupe site and paste the accented letter in where you want it (control/v).

3. Open your word processor, make letters with accents there. Copy the one you want. Change to the Guadeloupe Web site and paste the letter with accents where needed.

4. Use the following codes: On a Macintosh, type in accents the same way you would to type accents when working with a word processor. For example, for an é, press and hold the option key and press the E key. Then, let go of both keys and press the E key again. Here are other letter combinations you may need.
