The UW-Madison Professional French Masters Program is an interdisciplinary program of graduate study for advanced speakers of French wishing to use French in their professional lives outside teaching. PFMP students take courses in French and English and work in one of six concentration areas:
- Business
- French Education
- International Education Administration
- European Union Affairs
- International Development
- Media-Arts-Cultural Production
Professional French Masters students complete a year of coursework, carry out a personalized professional internship in their field in the French-speaking world, and write a master’s thesis in French.
