Professional French Masters Program
The UW-Madison Professional French Masters Program is an interdisciplinary program of graduate study for advanced speakers of French wishing to use French in their professional lives outside teaching. PFMP students take courses in French and English and work in one of six concentration areas:
Professional French Masters students complete a year of coursework, carry out a personalized professional internship in their field in the French-speaking world, and write a master’s thesis in French.
The PFMP features extensive networking via our External Advisory Board, an active alumni base, and a host of other networking and professional development opportunities above and beyond its academic requirements.
